Blue Ocean Institute
Scientist and author Carl Safina founded Blue Ocean Institute as an outlet for education and activism for ocean conservation. Their Guide to Ocean Friendly Seafood and FishPhone projects are great resources for helping find sustainable choices no matter your location.
WASSDA
The West African Sustainable Seafood Development Alliance is a project of the West African Trade Hub and US Aid, and works to promote products from the region in the international market. Fisheries in the area have struggled after years of exploitation by foreign fleets and WASSDA educates and empowers communities to take control of the resources available to them.
Seafood Choices Alliance
Seafood Choices Alliance connects NGOs, scientists, fishery management groups, chefs and suppliers to facilitate better communication and progress towards more sustainable seafood around the globe.
EarthEcho International
Philippe and Alexandra Cousteau created EarthEcho to bring the message of ocean and freshwater conservation to people through diverse media and experiences. As an ongoing memorial to their father, the Cousteaus speak and travel extensively to promote action in every generation.
Sunburst Trout
Simply some of my favorite people on earth. And their trout and smoked products are the best anywhere.
